Dr. Nina Pendergraph, Ph.D.

Dr Nina Pendergraph is a chemist with a PhD in chemical science from the KTH Royal Institute of Technology. With a strong academic foundation in engineering and chemistry, she has built a career applying scientific principles to real-world challenges, particularly within the fields of cosmetic science and product safety working for start up companies to large global companies. Her expertise spans cosmetics, biocides, and broader chemical legislation, helping brands navigate complex regulatory frameworks while ensuring the safety and efficacy of their products. She has frequently been hired to deliver value for roles in Regulatory Affairs, Medical Affairs, and as an R&D Specialist, with an ability to bridge the gap between science, regulatory compliance, and product innovation. Dr Pendergraph is particularly known for her work in skincare science, where she focuses on ingredient functionality, formulation, and the biology of the skin barrier. In addition to her consulting work, Nina now works for Karo Healthcare as part of the global medical team, with focus on Research & Innovation contributing her expertise to support product development & scientific strategy on an international scale.
